The councilors of Celebration and Tourism, Ruben Sanchez and Francisco in April, respectively, have announced more than a year 'Pasodobles Good Friday' fulfill their appointment at the door of the Casino, Calle Mayor, where the usual musical will be performed, after the procession of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth, by the bands of the various participants in the procession brotherhoods.
According to Ruben Sanchez, "this activity is one of the peculiarities of our Easter, so peculiar tradition that is unique in our country and we need to continue to promote, as many people know this habit out of our town."
Formerly, the bands that played in the procession, once completed, they approached the Casino and regaled musically that there were, in turn compete among them, a tradition that was maintained over time, and that for few years is especially promoting to make it known beyond Cehegín.
Bands and musical groups are already preparing to play their parts, and so delight the audience with a repertoire of pasodobles mixing the profane and the religious, and giving rise to this singular event next April 18.
