The Councilor for Education and Culture Cehegín City Council and the President of the Conquering Steps Association, Maravillas Fernández and Antonio Marín, respectively, announced today that the Drilo Gang Show will perform in Cehegín on Saturday, October.
The production of Andres Meseguer, more than 70 minutes of music and fun, will return to perform his show in the municipality, to benefit the Association "Conquering Steps".
It will be in the House of Culture, in two sessions from 17:00 and 19:00 hours.
The tickets, at the price of 8 euros, will be on sale from today at the Casa de la Cultura and on the telephone number of the Association 606872231. Anyone who buys it before August 31, will receive as a gift the poster of the Gang of Drilo.
We recall that Conquistando Escaloneses an association founded by those affected by Muscular Dystrophy of LGMD-1F Belts and relatives who need to raise funds for their treatment and cure.
After the discovery of the gene that causes it, there are several ongoing investigations to find the cure, finding also that the affected protein is the same that reproduces HIV.
The mutation of this gene makes the affected immune to AIDS and makes them the gateway to a possible cure of the global pandemic.
In addition, given the rarity and complexity of this type of Muscular Dystrophy, the researchers say that finding the cure would bring the solution to those affected by many other similar diseases.
