The government team of the City Council of Cehegín, last Friday, called on 13 January, the former workers of the factory in La Verja, to explain that the owners of these facilities have requested the City Council the corresponding license for the demolition of Which, as stated by the Councilor for Works and Services, Ismael Abellán "is obliged to grant it when complying with all legal requirements."
In addition to the previous councilor, the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, and the mayor of Urbanism, Joaquín López, were also present at this meeting.
We remember, on the other hand, that these lands where this old factory is located are considered industrial and, any action of residential use, would imply the consent of the Governing Team of the City.
In this regard, the Mayor of Cehegín has pointed out that "we will not allow those lands to be urbanized if there is no general benefit for Cehegín municipality, as we have told their current owners, in the various meetings that We have maintained with them. "
On the other hand, José Rafael Rocamora, has committed to keep punctually informed the outsiders of La Verja and the people in general of the different steps taken in the achievement of these facts and any news derived from them.
